My top three goals were getting in shape, having more energy, and having a better mindset on life. The most significant change I noticed is the fact that I had more energy once I started changing the way I ate and I started exercising. I now have the energy to make healthier choices as a lifestyle. My stomach started shrinking and I learned that I like to run. I never would have imagined I would of ever liked running. For my 27th birthday, I went to California to do my first 10K! I really appreciate all the things that Crystal has taught me and helped me accomplish that has led me to a better lifestyle.

Jeff Pate explains his accomplishments and experience on his journey during Crystal Jarvie's "Long Jump" 6-month health coaching program. One of the most significant improvements Jeff experienced during the program, in addition to healthy eating choices, was developing a higher level of self confidence that has helped him attain the job he was looking for and pursue his creative side. He has a new mentality and clarity which is allowing him to enjoy life more, while having more energy and enthusiasm!

My top three goals when I started my health coaching program with Crystal;
  1. To lose weight
  2. To learn how to eat a healthy balanced diet.
  3. And how to look out for my general health and outlook for healthy life style.
Crystal was able to help me work toward these goals by....
Guiding me to eat healthy foods, changing my diet, by teaching me what were good healthy foods. I have been able to lose 27 pounds in the process of learning what healthy foods are and how to incorporate them into my daily routine. I have achieved my goals and will continue to eat healthy! 

Crystal was even able to take me grocery shopping, this exceeded all of my expectations of a health coach. I attended one of her workshops and learned how bad sugar is for your health. Eliminating the sugar out of my diet has been one of my biggest challenges due to the fact sugar was in probably 99% of my old diet! I didn't even realize I was consuming that much sugar until my health coach provided me with nutrition information.

Crystal worked in light exercise as part of my healthy lifestyle program. This has helped my circulation and given me a better outlook on life with a stronger attitude! Due to the fact that I'm sixty years old, some of my physical abilities for exercise we're limited. Crystal was able to work around that and we found that I enjoy swimming which also has helped keep my body more fit and toned.

Crystal kept a close eye on what my doctor was prescribing as far as medications so that we could balance out my diet where medication sometimes can deplete your body of the nutrition that your body needs.

The most tangible change I have noticed since the beginning of the program is that I feel, “all-over healthy” and I’m able to do more things than before! And I'm happy to say I look much better in the mirror!

My top three goals upon starting the 6-month program were to: lose weight, eat healthier, develop a better meal planning regimen and to figure out ways to reduce stress.

Crystal was able to help me work toward these goals by providing healthy meal recipes, action items and recommendation as well as alternatives to try, healthy snacks and shopping lists. She also reviewed what I was currently eating and providing healthier alternative items. For me I struggle a lot with drinking water, she provided multiple ways to increase my water intake that worked! I also loved the recaps she provided after every session with the goals we set, healthy alternatives, and education materials related to my lifestyle.  

The biggest tangible change I have noticed since beginning the program has been that I have more energy and I have lost 15 pounds (which was one of my initial goals!). People have commented that it looks like you have lost weight and look better!

The most significant overall change I have noticed has been that I feel better about myself and my self-image has improved, which has helped me develop more confidence and to be happier overall.

Crystal is very caring and always encouraged me along the way.  She would always praised me and tell me that I was doing a great job with my goals.   I also consider her not just to be my coach who has guided me down this path, but she is now my friend. I always enjoyed our time that we spent together.  She is someone you can depend on for help and answers to your questions, she is very thorough in her research and knows how to motivate you and keep you on track.
I would recommend Crystal to anyone who would want to improve their health and have a better self-image. 
It was definitely worth my time (6-months) going through the Long Jump program.  It was hard to take the first step but I am sure glad that I did.  Crystal was a pleasure to work with and you will not be disappointed in her health coaching programs.
