Fruits and Vegetables can Change Your Life

Are You Getting Enough Fruits & Veggies?

We all know how important it is for our health to consume the proper amount of fruits and vegetables each day (7-13 servings of fruits and veggies per day), yet a world full of fast food and processed meals have led people to choose less healthy alternatives. This leads to deficiencies of the nutrients that are needed to lead a healthy lifestyle. Poor diets of unhealthy, processed foods, sweets and fats, help set the stage for health risks.

The average American eats only 43% of the recommended fruit and only 57% of the recommended vegetables each day. This means the average American is only getting half of the nutrients they need. A vegetable-rich diet is a smart way to start looking, feeling and living better.  But getting all the recommended servings is easier said than done.

That's where Complete Greens® can help.
Offering more than 50 natural ingredients including green vegetable powders and natural grass fibers that are low in sodium, fat and calories, Complete Greens helps to maintain a healthy digestive tract, providing beneficial probiotics, nutrients and natural enzymes to the body's organs. Complete Greens offers a diverse range of benefits from green vegetables and natural grass fibers that are low in sodium, fat and calories, contains no cholesterol and are a good source of iron, vitamin C, magnesium, and calcium. Adding natural grass juices and other natural vegetables and fruits to your diet regularly, helps provide the body with the means to cleanse itself. Naturally-produced grasses and other fiber-rich greens can enhance diets which may lack the correct amount of fruits and vegetables needed as a part of a daily regimen.

Why are enzymes needed?
Our bodies use enzymes for processes such as digestion. Enzymes are the catalysts for all metabolic activities in the body, and without them, life would not be possible. Our bodies contain thousands of different types of enzymes, but most foods we eat are processed and cooked, which causes them to lose enzymes. We can obtain natural enzymes from fresh, raw foods like fruits and vegetables or from supplements like those included in Complete Greens.

My Experience
As a health coach, I eat pretty healthy (roughly 90 percent clean, 10 percent not so clean), and exercise regularly. I can tell you that even though I eat really well, sometimes it's hard to fit in my 7 - 13 servings of fruits and veggies per day. What I do now and I've been doing for the last year and half is adding Complete Greens to my weekly routine. Being that I eat a lot of these, I find if I incorporate the greens powder just 4 times per week, I can easily reach my recommended daily allotment. What I have also found is that my body recovers faster than it ever has from vigorous exercise. For example, I run the Rock and Roll half marathon every year, this year I was barely sore the next day. Although this is probably because of many different factors, I would attest a lot of it to incorporating the Complete Greens, as it helps promote metabolic activities in the body. This, for me, was a drastic improvement that I continue to see with my workouts.
